2011 horse camp was a huge success thanks to a great group of kids and of course the wonderful parents and volunteers who made it possible. Horse camp was only 3 days this year instead of the normal 6 day camp. Lady had surgery on Friday 02/04/11. Surgery went very well and she is back at home... Lots of bandaging and stall cleaning ahead... In the end, we are glad we did the surgery and can't wait for her to get going again... Sianna says everynight, "mom Lady's booboo is better, I can ride her tonight"... It makes me laugh...

Well we made the BIG decision to take Lady in for surgery to remove her broken Splint Bone. She goes in on Thursday night and has Surgery on Friday. Wish us Luck!

Cessna is a 2005 Thoroughbred / Draft Cross mare. She is a dark brown / black mare that stands 16.3 hands. She has come to us from Rexburg Idaho where she was used lightly has a ranch horse. She is soft and sentitive to hand and leg. She has a very smooth walk, trot, and canter. We have high hopes and welcome her as a new family member. WISH US LUCK!

We just got back from a wonderful week of hunting. we didn't get anything this year, but we still had a great time. All 3 horses did amazing and we did about 80 miles on horse back over the week. That is alot of time in the saddle!

Sianna competed in her first horse show this last weekend. WHAT A TROOPER! She made it all day and even lasted longer than the horse. She was amazing all day! One of my campers wants to borrow Lady for a Queening Competition the end of this month. She spent all weekend with me learning the ins and outs of riding Lady. WOW we worked our butts off... They are doing great together and I think they are both learning a ton..... On Monday they even got to spend the day with my trainer getting some professional help.... I AM SO PROUD of them both!

We had one of our camper girls come and spend all weekend with us so that we could help her get her colt started. We worked really hard and rode him 2 times a day. By the end of the 4 days he was loping circles in the arena, had been on a trail ride, and was walk, trot, and loping bareback. WHAT A NICE COLT!

Our 2010 horse camp was absolutely the best ever. I had doubts that we could beat 2009, but somehow we really came close! We had 5 girls and 16 horses! Wow we had our hands full! I am headed in for surgery after horse camp. I will be having surgery on my knee for an ACL tear. That is good news because we should have a wonderful horse camp this year. I am not 100%, but I am feeling good and ready for my 8 girls to enjoy a week of nothing but horses!

Brandon and I got asked to bring our horses to participate in a school "carnival" day where we gave about 100-150 horse rides. Brooke help out and my gosh did we need her.... I am free! Walking cast is off and I got to go riding for the first time this last weekend. I had a great time. I rode Lady and Marley on Saturday and then met up with Michelle on Sunday for a great trail ride. I am a little sore today, but it was so worth it!

Well, I broke my leg on New Years Day. Brandon and I went up to Bogus to go snow boarding for the second time this year. We where strapping on our boards near the chairlift when my board moved out from under me and I fell over. No I wasn't doing a huge jump or doing something GREAT. I just fell over. I broke my leg in 2 spots too! IT SUCKS. I am going to have cruches for another week or so

Brandon and I along with my sister Tonya went snow boarding over the holiday weekend. We ran into Tristan on the slopes. Wow it was great to see her....
